Driven to Business with Eddie Mayfield

When setting plans for this year, hosting a business radio program on Atlanta Business Radio Biz 1190 wasn’t part of them.  I have always enjoyed the business of business, and in fact, it’s what prompted me to start an enterprise in the first place.

I still remember the early days of EMA, when Vicki and I were sitting at our kitchen table opening checks from our first customers.  Vicki said, “I can’t believe these people just send us money!”  I said, “honey, they aren’t just sending us money, they’re paying us for work I did.”

It sort of hit us right there..   “holy cow, we’re a business!”

I want to share that initial excitement with our listeners, and offer sound business advice and leadership principles that will be of real benefit on Driven to Business on Atlanta Business Radio.

In many ways starting a new Atlanta business radio program is reminiscent of starting a business.   Getting lost is easy!  Fortunately the great staff at Biz 1190 there in Atlanta have made it much easier than it would have been otherwise.

Figuring out where to take a business is exciting. Not only to those that own businesses, but to those that are simply going about making business work in whatever position they hold.  We want to help you be successful,  and reach your goals, regardless of where you are now. Every Driven to Business show will try hard to do that, and make Atlanta Business Radio, Biz 1190 a regular part of your weekend.

Recognizing how little I know, most of the time we’ll have talented guests that can share their insights as well.  We welcome feedback from you as well, and who knows?  It could find its way on the air.  Atlanta Business Radio, Biz 1190, and Driven to Business.
