All of us at some point have to deal with Difficult People..   I identify 5 typical types of “difficult” and give hints for dealing with each of them.

  • The Negator..  sees everything from a negative perspective
  • The Scowler..  just unfriendly
  • The Bully
  • The Optioneer..   sees so many options that they can’t focus or make decisions
  • The Contrarian..   These folks just march to a different drummer

Difficult people can actually be very valuable people to your organization..  they’re just..  well..  difficult.
