Tim Echols, Public Service Commissioner on Driven to Business
Commissioner Tim Echols was elected to the Georgia Public Service Commission in 2010. Tim grew up in Clayton County in a large entrepreneurial family.
Tim has a deep background in both business and non profit work. He was in the automotive business for years, and he’s the founder of Family Resource Network, out of which came Teenpact, a national citizenship experience for teens operating in almost 40 states. Teenpact has trained tens of thousands of teens and children.
Tim has been an advocate not only for Georgia consumers, but for Georgia businesses, which serve to employ Georgians. He has a great interest in alternative fuels, and has become quite the advocate for them. Listen as he and Eddie discuss these issues, along with a bit of politics, business, leadership, and the Christian faith.
